other day I used the university library of the University of Tokyo and thought when I saw the many books on the shelves, I would finally do that one again with a normal library. The day before that I no longer in the library that was because the registration for non-university visitors (passport) is possible only until 17.00 clock and I was there only at 17.15 clock because I knew, that the library until the day 22:00 Clock would have had open, I will already have to be suspicious.
Most books are not on the shelf, but in the magazine, but here you could order 5 books simultaneously and these were then immediately taken from the magazine. Sadly, of course, that is also done in the most prestigious university in Japan no conversion from paper to digital data processing and one must therefore always write good title, signature and any band. It goes on it some time, you think, if one was not copied.
But that was my real goal of the library visit, because I knew that I do there for only 10 yen and completely independent copy. So books and magazines under his arm and go. Copy card now, I know! Copier mark, me! But wait! What is there? FORMS! "Must be completed if you copy magazines or books," Control of the articles under my arm: magazines, books! So: title, call number, volume, page numbers, write down! First magazine mentioned, registered second magazine (especially the page numbers are annoying), looked up ... How well the young man simply copied? Perhaps already filled? ... Third magazine registered .... And the woman? Maybe I prefer to ask the two employees who sit around there with the copiers, whether the form is really meant for my needs. "Yes, that must be filled!" So, made the fourth and fifth entry, and then submit the completed form carefully with the ladies. "No, no, you must then put in the box!" "In the box?" "In the box!" THE BOX! In addition to the forms is a BOX! Whispers quasi! Short looked to the left and right, if someone looks, ... nobody! Not even the two ladies at the copiers. But now that I've filled out the paper so well, I put it on too. And finally copy. In the next few books I was then also to those who simply copy and beschmunzeln the people who are uncertain as to the form and fill out their forms carefully. But that happened in the next 3 visits to the library only once. In branch libraries, in which one is to copy the list down personally in hand, I was lucky enough to find, track and easy to aubzukürzen write down any page numbers.
